Roof shingles; some buckling near flashing. Fix?
Homeowner here.
I had a new roof put on about 1.5 years ago. Copper flashing also replaced. I recently noticed that some of the shingles immediately adjacent to the copper flashing have developed a slight buckling appearance.
Any idea of the cause? What would be the fix?
Thanks,

I hear "flashing" and "buckle" and I immediately would be suspicious of a leak. A leak would buckle the sheathing. Or the sheathing was improperly mounted and has warped from heat or seasonal movement of the structure

I'd guess the shingles are trying to expand but were put too tight to the flashing and have no room to move.
