Roofing:Fascia Boards and Rolled Roofing
What is the right way to keep water off the fascia boards of a flat pitched, rolled roofing, roof? Is there some special drip edge, construction method or something?
I’m fixing up a rental and can see from the water damaged wood and busted-up rolled roofing edge hanging over it that something wasn’t right to begin with.

There should be a drip cap that gets tarred (flashing cement) to the roof below the rolled roofing and goes over the fascia. The rolled roof then get tarred over the drip cap.
Buy the larger sized drip edge to be ensured of good run off. It comes in different sizes.
Be well
