Jailhouse toilet. usually found in stainless.
From a female perspective, this sink bothers me. There is no room for a bar of soap or bottled soap? I do like the picture showing the toilet lid down - :)
I would think the ladies would love it. You could take a dump and lean back and wash your hair at the same time.
have you seen one of these?
they would be perfect for my garage,i have a toliet stuffed in a corner and would like to have something to wash with once in a while.
it's going in the saved folder...............
the older i get ,
the more people tick me off
No, I have not seen one. My son and his wife have the tiniest of bathrooms in their upstairs (almost more of a finished attic than an upstairs...) and they would like to remove the sink so there is room to use the toilet. She found that web site.
I think that somewhere I saw a fold out sink. It folds up into or onto the wall thus gaining some space in small bathrooms.
A fold out sink would be interesting to see.
Not a bad idea at all, but I wonder if they realize they show a picture of it right next to a bath sink vanity? Really not the idea situation to highlight the benefits of a space saving sink. Vic
Yeah. That is weird. The kids and I both noticed that (I'm surprised I did).
Needs work, but an interesting idea.
Where's the hot water feed? That's a problem.
And I think it would feel a bit weird straddling a toilet while I wash my hands. Petty, I know, but it would take some adjustment.
Scott.
Yes, there's an included soap dish, molded into the top. I've used one for 15 years. It works well.
For some reason, it's always the female visitors who say, "That's weird." Of course, the water that comes out of the tap is clean and drinkable, but explanations don't always overcome confusion and prejudice.

Don't think there is one, but I have not seen the fittings and tubing supplied......
JimNever underestimate the value of a sharp pencil or good light.
Here is a total toilet with that feature.http://www.caromausa.com/profile-smart

Interesting that the toilet designed to have a sink above the tank puts the gray water into the tank (so fresh water into the bowl?).I'm not sure which I'd prefer.
Saw those o TV last week installed in condos in Japan. Guy looked at 3 condos all in the $500,000.00 range, all had about 300 square feet and all had those sinks on the toilets.
Did you follow the site any further?
I thought this was a freestanding / complete toilet + sink unit......
Surprise! It is a replacement tank lid and some fittings, blue highlight added:
