I have my eye on a Bosch 11224VSR 6.9 amp, 7/8 inch SDS Rotary Hammer. But I have a few questions because I’m not very familiar with this type of tool. In addition to drilling concrete, is this a suitable tool to use for busting up tile mud floats, mud beds, and stucco? Is it underpowered, or is it in fact the entirely wrong tool for this purpose? Thank you!

Used to have one of them. Its a dandy for drilling holes but the rest of your list you unfortunately are probably looking at spending a bit more money on.
While I'm sure there are wares in the Bosch and Makita and other lines suitable,

Thats the first pic I could find of a TE76 Hilti. Thats what I have and more appropriate for breaking small things like you describe. And more expensive.
Real trucks dont have sparkplugs
Hi, I just posted on 'hammerdrill recomendations'. Hilti may well be a good choice, depending on additional power at higher cost. Or, to repeat what I said 'over there'... for demo, 1/2-1+ inch holes, chipping, scaling, etc... better to spend for a Real tool suited for the job. And a 1/2" hammerdrill for the smaller stuff. And IMHO, SDS may be convenient for that in-between sized stuff, but one is paying extra merely for the trademark everytime you need a different size bit or chisel.
OK, Grover, wha t do you advise if not SDS??
