Rough-in for lo-vo undercab track lights
I’m going to put something like Juno 12v track lights under some upper cabs in my future shop office. There is a concealed but accessible space directly upstairs where I can locate a transformer, so I installed a switched outlet controlled from a switch in the office. Now I need to rough in some wire (not romex, I presume) that will connect to the transformer upstairs and stub out thru the sheetrock in the office, so that I can install the cabs and then hook up the light tracks. What kinda wire?

Usually on LV lights the voltage is low so the amperage is high. The last ones I did the tramsformer spec the size of the wire. I believe it was THHN 12ga stranded. Don't forget, stranded is easier to run than solid.
Headstrong, I'll take on anyone!
