How do you install the rounded corner bead on 90 degree corners? Do you rasp the corners so the rounded bead will fit better? Do you fill the rounded corner bead full of mud and push it on. The corner bead is vinyl, made by Trim-tex. I know you can glue it on but I want to nail it. Help!!!

If it's not too late, don't rasp the corners, but hold the sheetrock back from the edge about 1/4 to 1/2" to provide a clearance space. If the rock is fully installed, start rasping.
Don't overlap the sheetrock on the edge. That gives room for the radius to fit. I see you want to nail, but an idea I saw here that Gabe posted a long time ago was to use contact cement instead. I wish I had known that in time. Those corners are hard to nail and the nail heads are hard to cover and the parts be/t the nails like to pop up a little, etc. Ours were nailed, but I like Gabe's way better.
Cloud and Lorant3: Trimtex sells a spray-on contact cement for attaching such pieces...kinda messy, but it's fast and it works...what the heck was I thinking?
Hey Heck, does the Corner bead really stick well and for a long period of time. Does anyone else have an opion on this subject.
I used a lot of trim tex in a house we built 3 years ago, first time we had used it.I was impressed with the product,it solved some problems for us,however,it is hard to get on a regular basis in my area.
There have been no problems associated with this product on this job.
I would not hesitate to use their products again.what the heck was I thinking?
