I have a friend who is having a rubber roof installed this week. We live in PA ann the temperature has been between 18 and 35 the past few weeks. He told me this morning a couple of his neighbors told him that they had rubber roofs put on several years ago and were told that a rubber roof can’t be installed in the cold weather.
Is installing a rubber roof in cold weather an issue? Will it create any problems down the road??

What kind of rubber roof? Liquid rubber, roll'ed like EPDM?
I've never messed with EPDM in cold weather, but know that some folks just use mechanical fasteners with it. My WAG would be that you could do a mechanically fastened EPDM roof in the winter.
And if nothing else, my reply will bump your posting back up to the top and someone else can chime in.
