Ijust want to throw this out and see what someone comes up with. i would like to know what run to use on a valley rafter when the pitches are diffrent. the main roof is a 7 and the dormer is a 10. 17 does not work because the valley is not on a 45 to the main roof. when i framed this roof i came up with a 13 34 run. it worked but i would like to know if there is a formula to figure it out.e-mail me at [email protected]
