Looking for thoughts on sash replacement versus pulling out entire window pros/cons. Also what are the good manufacturers of sash replacement kits.
Thanks

I have used Marvins tilt pack in the past and found them to be very good. The windows are solid wood and they are extremely easy to install in existing window frames.
I went to the lumber yard and priced one out. 28 X 49 wood in/out insulated glass $425. A bit high I am thinking of riping out and going with complete new ones and re-siding at the same time.
Seconds on the Marvin Tilt Packs.
Let's not confuse the issue with facts!
Now I am asking for prices on the standard sizes (think I was quoted custom size) and am hoping they are less. Not looking forward to the siding and interior trim.
Ask for brosco, 1/2 price, work better than marvins.
The marvin adds cost $$$$$$$$$$$$
Thank you. I will take a look.
