We had the strongest odor in the air coming from some cow grower….so I fired up the gyrocopter and flew up wind till I found it. Tons of fresh manure being spread all over. The first picture is “scratch and sniff”….ha

the last couple of days the flying conditions were really perfect..At least in the Kentucky and Indiana areas. I bet the local farmers have been at their best behavior of late. I can imagine the talk at the local coffee shop...."some guy has a predator flying around up there." Stan to play a practical joke you should mount some paper machete sidewinders and hellfires on your undercarriage lol.
But seriously thanks for the pics. stinky
Hey don't laugh too loud...they had a Predator or some other UAV flying around the Depot a week ago. At first I thought it was a ultra-lite exp. real far away, then I thought it was a RC model plane..It finally dawned on me what it was when it went back to the depot. Pretty cool.

Hey Sphere, rumor has it you took a big hit by a defensive back after making a fantastic catch (inbounds and in control of course). Seriously you ok? I see you are still working but typical of all-pros you probably are playing with pain. Take care of yourself. Watch the heights. You guys do some amazing stuff up there.
Stan please keep the pics coming.
stinky
When we we in Germany the Boy Scouts did a Christmas tree sale. We went out to a big farm to harvest trees and they were fertilizing. They had a big machine sort of like the hydroseeders. I took a picture that I titled "When the s*** hit the fan".
Ah, the smell of cow manure. Smells like money to me.
(-:
Boss: Yea....I cant complain as long as I like "Filet-O-Cow".
I will say that when you fly over the fresh spread manure in an airplane or especially an ultralight...there are a lot of thermals coming up from all the gas being released. Gives a bouncy ride.
The gyocopter hardley notices it because of all the rotor momentum....
