A basic DIY question I’m sure, but which is best? I’m laying down 7/8″ plywood subfloor over 2×4 plated wood trusses on a renovation in my old house.
Thanks in advance.

My 1st choice would be struct screws & subfloor adhesive which would pretty much guarantee no squeaks but I've had good luck with subfloor adhesive & ring shank nails as well.
7/8 ? is that a T&G ?.....
anyways...i'd glue & nail it.... i'd imagine the mfr. / code would call for a 10d ring shank
so ... i'd spec a PL glue and 10d ring shank
I would agree with Mike Smith - glue and ring shank nails, 10d.
Don't be skimpy with the glue.

Never underestimate the value of a sharp pencil or good light.
Thanks guys. Nailing it'll be. That would be my preference as I have access to a Paslode nailer and the owner suggested using their Floor Grip nails. I'll plan on gluing the hell out of this as well.
I'd grab a box of trim head metal stud screws just in case the nails want to bounce off.
