I understand that we need to seal our 3 yr old Travertine tile shower floor and walls and wondering, is it necessary to seal all the way up the entire 14″ high travertine shower stall walls? This shower is an open, walk-in shower stall with plenty of ventilation.
Re grout, when I seal, must I use care to not let the sealer get on the grout or does it matter if it does? I did buy separate grout sealer but wondering about the necessity of using this. Should I perhaps seal the grout separately and then do the travertine? Is it any big deal if the travertine sealer goes over on top of sealed grout?

Im not sure of the difference between the grout sealer and the stone sealer (enhancer or sealer?)but the grout certainly needs to be sealed and do the whole shower for sure. Dont worry about the travertine sealer getting on the grout but check the 2 products for compatibility. Someone else here should know more about that.
