I just had granite countertops imstalled in my kitchen. It’s obvious I need to seal them. I saw a product callled Graniseal online, and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. It claims to penetrate the granite up to 1/2 an inch. I’d appreciate any positive or negative responses before I go and put this stuff on my new countertops.
Thanks
Tom Schmidt

Didn't the installer or the fabricator have a recommendation? You may also look on line under granite countertops or something like that. People at Breaktime may have an answer (click at top of this page in yellow green box after "Other Taunton Sites").
I don't know if you found a solution to sealing yet, but, I have sealed mine in the past with a product that is available all over and comes in a blue quart sized jug. Home depot and Lowe's carries it. Also, give a call to the local tile store. Even better, Tile Works in Harwich, MA is a great retailer. They have had several installation articles in Taunton publications. Seal it Quick! I have had several cooking oil stains on mine!
