I am interested in putting a seamless floor in about 500 sq ft of my basement. I have never had a moisture problem with the slab. The basement has a ’50’s era slab with cutback adhesive residue on it that I have covered with cementitious embossing leveler.
I like the basic looks of epoxy systems with vinyl chip aggregate but do not want a hi gloss finish. Ventilation is poor in this basement so I also need to find a system that is low odor. Does anyone have any suggestions for a low sheen, low odor, durable coating system available in the DIY market?
Thanks

Thanks for trying to help Rez. I have made a contact through an industrial coatings contractor that is helping me out. The solution I am using is not perfect, but at least I will be able to get it done.
I look forward to future discussions,

Marmoleum click may work well for you.
Thanks for your response Bdub. I am familiar with that material. I think it is beautiful, wonderful stuff but I am going for a totally seamless floor. Having old pets that sometimes have accidents combined with a below grade application has pushed me into the seamless world.
I am now installing an epoxy, acrylic chip aggregate seamless system. My struggle now is to locate a low sheen, low odor urethane top coat for this system. As this tends to be an industrial type coating material, low sheen top coats seem to be quite rare...at least in my research.
Any one have any lines on a low to 0 odor, low sheen, durable, hard urethane top coat material which will adhere to high solids epoxy coating material?
Thanks
