In February or March I bought a magazine showing a stately Craftsman-style gate. Either a garden or estate gate. The magazine was either a woodworking or home design publication. My motive was to use the design to compliment our just-completed Craftsman home in Northern California.
My wife threw the magazine away. It had measured drawings, and I intended to build the gate myself. Can anyone recall the name of the publication or the issue date?
The gate was painted pale green with rust trim.

Gary, if you find it, could you post the drawings here ? I'm into Craftsman Style too.
Here's one I saw up in Newport Beach, Ca. awhile back.
I'll do that for you. This month's issue of Workbench Magazine has working drawings and instructions for a Craftsman fence/screen. Not as ornate as this gorgeous example. My woodworking club (SF Valley) took us on a special tour of both the Gamble House and the Blacker House in Pasadena. Both are Green & Green houses. Of the two, the Blacker House had the more dramatic wood finish carpentry. The porch and arbor in the book were fabulous. You can obtain a book on by that same title, with photographs by Brad Pitt. By the way, I couldn't download the photo from this site. (I'm new here, and not too bright) Could you attach it to an email and send to:

Probably not it, but great source publications for that particular style....American Bungalow, or Style 1900.
