Hi All,
I need to bid on a job which includes securing 4′ x 6′ copper sheets (16oz = ~.025) to built out wall mounts (same size as the copper sheet). There will be fasteners on the outer edges only, so I need to use an adhesive everywhere else. Any ideas on an adhesive that will have the holding stength but will not be too thick to show on the front side?
Thanks,
Chris

Is this exterior or in a conditioned space? You'll have some serious oil-canning if it's outside with that big of a sheet.
I'm not green anymore.
Cu,
It's an interior application.
Thanks
Chris
I think I'd let it float in the middle if it's secured around the perimeter. That's a mighty big sheet of copper to handle without half-mooning it. Good luck.I'm not green anymore.
I think David Marks on his show Woodworks has fastened copper sheet to a substrate for a garden gate. Check out http://www.diynetwork.com to search for the episode.
