Or how to keep your motion detector light from turning on when a car drives by in the street.
I’ve got a motion detector light that has no sensitivity control. The spec sheet says the “Sensor Range..up to 30 feet”. Dang thing goes on when a car drives by that is over 60 feet away. We like the “decorator” style fixture; it’s not one of those flood light ones with the two bell shaped bulbs.
Know any tricks to “dim” its sensitivity? I’ve been thinking of trying some tape with holes punched in it. Or is it time to get out the ladder and take it down?
