A client has talked about using some on high windows. I’ve never done this before or even used one for this purpose.
Anyone ever used one on a project that they liked, why? Have a name for it?

John
*Vincent Whitney Co. has an extension rod like that used for skylights (manual) that will operate "clerestory windows" -- both awnings and casements -- outfitted with their hardware. Young Bob speaks highly of the company. 415-332-3260The home automation people have at least one wireless system for the gadget-inclined. *I know Andersen has them for casements , awning , and skylights . I worked on one house that had thirteen of them . They also have a rain sensor that automaticly closes the window after only a few drops . There low voltage and you can run up to four off one transformer I think [ its been a while ] There pretty pricey , dont know if you could retrofit them to other brands . Hope this helps , Chuck
