The foundation for my new addition consists of two rectangles. The basement has a framed interior wall that separates the main part of the basement from a smaller section. The exterior walls are insulated with 2″ of foam board. The foundation has a good exterior french drain and the basement stays nice and dry. I use a humidifier in the summer.
I want to sheetrock the framed wall, to divide the basement space. Should I use paperless drywall, or will regular drywall suffice? Thanks.

I like to use green, water-resistant, drywall anywhere that there's a possibility of high humidity and/or standing water.
"Dry" basements always seem to find a way to get an inch or two of water on the floor, often more, sometime during one family's lifetime in residence.
You will only pay maybe $3 extra per sheet for mold resistant drywall. Certainly seems like a worthy cause for the extra insurance.
