I'd expect them to at least be able to boom it up to the second or third floor windows. As I recall you are somewhere in the south and it sounds like the shortages and high prices are more of an issue there. Up here the rock is Canadian manufacture and has the French labeling to prove it.
Yeah I priced 4x8 1/2" yesterday and it's up 2.50 a sheet. One of my friends needed 54 sheets of green board and it took 3 distributors to find it. It's all going south for the winter. LOL!

I have never seen 4x8 1/2 that cheap , where you at ? the rock plant parking lot?

Don the price was never quoted. The raise is 2.50 not the price .

Thanks for explaining that Tim. The price is around 9.40 a sheet.

Ok , so a road trip is out then . Just go to the local supply house .
What size of a fine homebuilding project are you doing with 2,000 sheets? Considering this is about 64,000 SqFt of drywall I would think price wouldn't be such a big concern for the project.
I guess I am trying to equate my basement project where I bought 120 sheets for 1,000 SqFt. Thus, I am thinking something like 12-15,000 SqFt.
