I’m working on a project for a friend and he mistakenly ordered sheetrock instead of blueboard. Unfortunately, he didn’t notice the mistake until after he had humped all 40 sheets up 3 flights of stairs. Because of time constraints, I’m hoping to still use the sheetrock and had heard that there is a treatment that can be applied to the sheetrock to make it accept the plaster finish (My plasterer has correctly informed me that sheetrock does not accept plaster well- and that he doesn’t have the extra time for a sheetrock project).
Does anyone know what this treatment is called and where it can be ordered in the Boston area? Thanks!

Yes, you are correct. The stuff is called "Plaster Weld".
Does it work well?
I don't know if it works well, but there are few, if any other products that do what this does.
It's pretty. (pink)
