Looking to replace 1/2 ton ext cab regular bed (6 1/2′) with a 1/2 ton crew cab. So far the only thing I can find on the lots in 1/2 ton crew cabs are short beds (5 1/2′). I love the space the new crews have, but that 5 1/2′ bed looks tiny. Seems like my truck box will take up 1/2 the dang space….

Anyone go with crew cab and short box? If so, how have  you made out hauling material?
