Lexington KY got hit with tornado and straightline winds last nite..a lot of damage.
GreenCu should be busy too..my cell phone service is still out..
We don’t get that too much up here (over here?) and I only saw one mild one in NC..Tornado’s SUCK..no serious injuries, but what a mess.
We are 20 miles south and had a long nite, really high wind, severe lightning, and I’d guess 50+ MPH winds..oh and a ton of rain.
Anybody else in central ky, my heart goes out to ya.

Yeah. Wednesday night we lost an entire town just south of here. Granted, small town, but it was a bad night for the 280 residents. The whole area just finished the SAR part and got the major volunteer effort going full out today. Prior to that, only allowed in the area if you used to have a house there.
It's kind of an odd feeling. Human nature is sympathy. You feel terrible for those people, what they're going through, what they're going to have to deal with for the next months. Their whole summer and fall just got significantly reorganised for them. Yet, in the business we're in, it's almost guilty relief. There's 280 houses that need to be built. Now. Its good for the yards, it's good for the working guy. Probably not so good for insurance rates.

Not to diminish the one death but I'm amazed that there wasn't more!
Looking at those pictures, seems like dozens at least could have been casualties.
Death by straw puncture? Hit by flying cow or van?
I'll stick with earthquakes.

At least you can find all your stuff when its over!
Busted glass is all I've ever had. Big plate glass window blew up when the building shifted.
Scared the hell out of me, BIG noise when that hit & window went. I was about 25' away from it, but glass was everywhere.
Glass shops were busy busy for a couple of weeks.
