What's your definition of washroom? I would say that any room containing a washer and dryer is the washroom.

pros?
cons? privacy.
Here's one the homowner wanted done in a former maid's qtrs in their house. The sink plumbing was there, the toilet drain/supply existing. Added the shower. Used the old clothes shute for plumbing to the washer. Dryer vent run horizontal at floor, under the tub area in bathroom that backed up to W&D location.
They didn't want to close in the bathroom area. Beats me why.

I like that baseboard.
Well so did I (like the basebd). When I did their kitchen, I needed some more to finish it around the room. Where could we scavenge. Well, the longest pcs were in the maids qtrs. They had planned to change out the room later, so the couple I removed would be no problem. Well, as luck would have it, they decided on a different floor plan for the room (shower/toilet/pedestal). Well, now I need to find some more. There happened to be some small closets in the upstairs, where better to find some 2' pcs. What you see is three part base, that is in the vertical. I think I succeeded in joining the "parts is pcs" in the lengthwise pretty good. Here the floor pcs from a closet in the new room were removed and resituated (along with the floor I removed under the shower base) to hide the old wall line. The second one might give a better detail of the base.Remodeling Contractor just outside the Glass City.

My downstairs bathroom/laundryroom is just off the garage. Works great for the times we come in all dirty and just strip down throw clothes into washer and selves into shower.
Not so great when you throw selves into washer and clothes into shower. hehehe!
There are no stupid questions. Just lots of inquisitive idiots!!!
