i’ve got a job coming up where the home owner had a tile shower demo’d due to water leakage and carpenter ants. they are having a plumber install a fiberglass enclosure. i have to fir out above the shower wall and ceiling and finish it off. these areas will be painted. what do i use? hardi bb or can i use densishield gypsum board. if i have to use hardi can i finish it off with tape and compound?

If the enclosure is fully sheathed in fliberglass, sheetrock is fine. I put greenboard on the ceiling and a really good paint. What a comedown to go from a nice tile shower to frigging fiberglass. Bummer.
