Shower Installation

Putting a fiberglass/gelcoat one piece shower in finished basement.  Directions say to shim up from underneath until plumb.  Is there a better thing to put under the base of the shower floor between the shower and the concreter floor?  Didn’t get a chance to see how it was done in my upstairs.

    Hi Patt,

    I recently installed a tub - shower combo. The instructions said to pack thick mortar

    around the bottom. Came out ok.
