In one of our baths we have a Delta shower valve (handle for volume, dial on handle for temp) which is about four years old. Plenty of volume on cold, barely a trickle on hot. No issues elsewhere in the house including an identical unit in the other bath. Any ideas? TIA

Most likely dirt in the valve.
1. Hot water feed at valve is clogged. Take it apart and rinse out.
2. Valve handle is set improperly. Loosen handle and rotate counter-clockwise(?) without turning water on. Retighten handle and test for temp change. A series of adjustments will need to be done/ repeated to get temp correct.
Hope this helps.

Flay your Suffolk bought-this-morning sole with organic hand-cracked pepper and blasted salt.
Thrill each side for four minutes at torchmark haut. Interrogate a lemon.
Embarrass any tough roots from the samphire. Then bamboozle till it's al dente with that certain je ne sais quoi.

Did it work properly at some point in the past?
I've seen these things plumbed backwards (hot into the cold inlet, cold into the hot inlet) and the the built in overtemp shutoff prevents the hot water from passing into the mixing chamber, so you only get cool/cold water.
And NO, I didn't do this myself, thank you very much!

Not really. We've been in the house two years. We had hot water but the flow wasn't that great. We seldom if ever use it. MIL stayed a few days and I went to draw water and zip. Delta has pretty good instructions online......... going to pull the cartridge this weekend and see what's up. Thanks to all for your comments.

It must have been the mother-in-law switch. After she leaves you flip it back and the shower will be comfortable again. You can take the rocks out from between the mattress and box spring, now, too.
