Has anyone used the Van Mark Crown Molding die for the Trim Former? It looks pretty neat, but does it really work or is it more trouble than it’s worth? I don’t see specifications at:
http://www.van-mark.com/accessories/Trimformer/TrimFormer.html for the metal thickness it is suppose to work with. Anyone have further information?
Thanks,
Bruce

I bought one when I purchased my brake. I bought a HD rental unit, and got such a crazy deal (10') that I splurged on the former.
Unforunately, I've only had time to play with it a bit and it is very cool. Right away you realize how much you could dress up some otherwise boring trim, etc.
Like the slitter that rolls along the brake, the former is easy to use. Was it worth it? Depends on how much of a tool guy you are.
I figured that since I got the brake, the Vanmark rolling stand (new - retails for $199) and the rolling slitter (retails for $289) for $850, I could afford to get the former to complete the package.
