I am soon to be starting a timber frame house with structural insulated panels. I am looking for a source of lifting plates, or other slick ways to lift the panels with crane and boom lift. We have build numerous frame houses, but the first time for this combination. If you have other sage advice, I would welcome it.

There isn't a lifting plate made that does anything that a 2x6 with a nylon strap under it won't do. Unless you're going into the business full time. Simply screw the 2x to the sip with a few timberloc structrual screws into the solid lumber edges of the sip. The pannels are pretty light.
It's also easy to rig up a number of pannels with the 2x6's vs. the cost of a number of lifting plates.
