does anyone have experience with the critter siphon spray gun?i saw one in the new tool crib cat. seems like our painters spend more time cleaning their spray equipment than spraying paint (the hvlp systems cost more than i want to spend)although some days i spend more time with a brush in my hand than i want. a siphon spray gun sounds too good to be true?? thanks. paul.

The "Critter" is a simple spray bottle assembly....quite functional for simple jobs...where simple results are expected.
With the Critter I've "shot" handbuilt wooden toys, repainted welded metal repairs and parts, latex paint repairs on ceilings/walls/trim, application of artists colors to backgrounds and lots of other "handi-projects"!
What the 'Critter" lacks is adjustability, volume and finese...so don't expect high quality finishes on a piece of furniture, or vehicle.
Don't expect to do large areas with any uniform coverage or speed.
But....Not much to clean up....down and dirty for certain applications.
The next step up is a Pasche Air Brush, then HVLP or automotive sprayer, or an airless.
Sort of depends on your needs and finish criteria!
