I’m looking at installing a shower unit in an upcoming new house. The customers would like to have ability to roll in the shower if a wheelchair were ever necessary. The house would be a radiant heated slab and I’m not sure as to the right procedure or products to use.Anyone with experience installing such a shower please feel free to share your expertise.

LD,
You could have the concrete finishers develop a preslope in the shower stall location with a drain set for tile--this would allow a wheelchair to roll right in without creating a bad drainage plane. I have also seen slabs with this area left open for the tile guys to make the preslope themselves.
