Never done something exactly like this. Replace a pair of windows with a slider. Brick veneer over 4 inch stud wall. Studs are 4 inch true, not 3 1/2. Plus airspace, black fiber sheathing and drywall inside. Once I cut down the brick under the window, RO in the brick is exactly 71 inches. Do I install the slider in the studs and let the brick overlap a half inch on a side? Flashing? This is a protected area under a porch roof.
