I built my workshop over the Spring/Summer. The siding and trim is Louisiana-Pacific Smart Lap. Since is comes already primed, I just put a good quality exterior latex on it about 3 months ago. |

Supposedly primered wood is to be re-coated within thirty days. That's a big variable, depending on weather and UV rays it is exposed to.
When you go over that, it is necesary to lightly sand it all prior to painting to expose fresh, un-oxidized paint to adhere to.
It sounds like you might not have taken this step and that could be a cause.
But
I've almost never had any luck with LP products and I avoid them like the plague. It could be a problem from the factory. I haven't used what you describe. Somebody else here must know more.
