No. Is it OSB? Try the Hardi-soffit. Its good stuff!
I have used the Smartsiding (t-111).
And I used Smart soffit 4x8 sheets. I used them for insert panels in a baywindow bump out. Locally all it is wood grain. I could have gotten some smooth hardboard siding, but wanted something more weather resistance.
It is a an OSB product, but with a formed resin face. The stuff seems to have so much resin in it that I doubt that it rot even setting in a bucket of water.
