So, how do you guys install 14 ft. lengths of crown by yourself? I ‘ve done crown, but always had someone to hold the floppy end. What are so techniques you use to make it easier on yourself?
P.S. I’m putting 1x on the wall & ceiling to build the molding out some.

Check out the "3rd Hand" at Amazon:

They work great.
Might hafta pick up a new two pack for myself.....I think I payed close to that for just one at my local hardware store.
Before purchasing one, I used use 10 penny finish nails tacked just below where the bottom edge of crown would sit. Then go back and putty/caulk nails holes. (No problem if you were planned on painting the entire room anyhow.)
