I’m looking for a source for loose Aluminum or stainless steel nails (8d common or box).
My searches have only come up with collated SS for nail guns.
I had bought a box (1 lb) of Al nails about 20 years ago and finally depleted them.
I’ve tried using SS roberts head screws but my technique is lacking, I strip half of them.
TIA

Get the GRK Torx head screws.
PS I think that the ACE hardware stores have the aluminum ones.
PPS google for Jamestown distributors. They have tons of SS stuff.

Something in the back of my wee brain remembers that McFeely's has them, too. Or I could have "misremembered"

If you were 2500 mi west, I'd invite you to help youself to a few pounds out a stash in the barn<G> (PS - shipping is free, but the bother of handling is $200#)
Got a 20# box of collated Pasload ss 8d (look more like 7d) ring shank a couple years back at a garage sale for $5, going to have to buy a Paslode gun to use them one of these days.....
