I’m looking for a source (preferably in the southeast) for stainless steel flooring nails. I’m trying to nail pressure treated (ACQ) T&G flooring down to CCA joists on an exposed porch, so it looks like s.s. is the only solution, if I’m going to use a nailer. I need them for Bostich or Senco (I’m told they’re the same, in this case). Anybody got a good source of supply?
Thanks.

straw... i bought the Bostich Floor stapler because i knew i could get SS staples for it...
we do some t&G fir on exterior porches..
now my supplier tell me they can also get the SS cleat nails for the Bostich floor nailer... so i know they're out there..
BTW... $350 / 5000.... heh, heh,heh
Many thanks folks! That was almost easy! I did also find that Porta-Nail has stainless as well, in case anybody else reading this thread has a similar problem. Looks like everything's back on "go"<Jack>

I was considering SS finish nails ... 15g ... and PL Premium for a similar job if I couldn't find a suitable alternative.

I have too agree with JeffBuck on that one!!
DOn't know how big your porch is, but I would recommend screws. Resist pulling out when your framing shrinks. No squeaks either. McFeelys has good sqyuare drive ones. Takes longer, predrilling recommended, but you'll be happier with the finished product.

neil... that is not how you lay T&G flooring
the SS staples or nails work just fine.. and they don't loosen up as the framing shrinks
you're making this sh*t up as you go

Easy there killer, I misread your original post. No need to get nasty. A simple clarification would have sufficed. In which case I'm guessing you already have your answer.
no problem neil... i have a hair across my azz for the trend to use screws where nails have always worked just fine....

I've used the same source Buxton linked to.
