The SO has ordained that our 2 pc washroom needs to be upgraded. Due to space limitations, a small china, or stainless oval lavatory drop in basin is called for, (about 17†wide by 12†deep, max.) for a laminate counter top. With any of the suitable ones I’ve seen, there seems to be a inverse relationship between size and price. Can anyone steer me to a plumbing catalogue or resource that would fill the need for a moderately priced compact basin, available to Canadians?

I have an undermount SS Elkay single bowl that I can let go pretty cheap.
You can do it with laminate, but get's a bit tricky on finishing the edge.
Dayton is the cheapest SS sinks made, they might make a single bowl self rimming.
