Hi all,
Another question for the forum…….
Both of the folks who quoted my lumber load suggested that they were supplying the “better” grade of lumber (even though they didn’t come right out and say that…).
Anyway, one is quoting Western SPF and the other Southern SPF. So what is the story here or is there really not one?
The one supplier talked about the growing season of the Western variety being shorter and therefore tighter growth rings than Southern.
I do actually really trust both of these suppliers. They both have been excellent in the dealings on this house build and other projects of mine.
Thanks for the help
