I’m going to rebuild a garage that has some spalling problems due to no rebar in the slab, if possible I would like to repair rather than rebuild the slab. Does anyone have any suggestions for coldbond retopping and adding rebar? Does Abocrete work well? Do I have to replace the whole thing? Thanx all

rebar has nothing to do with spalling
rebar has nothing to do with spalling I beg to differ with you, Doctor. If the rebar is rusting badly, and it's too close to the surface, it can cause the concrete to spall. But you're right in this discussion ... lack of rebar won't cause spalling.
Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell'em "Certainly, I can!" Then get busy and find out how to do it. T. Roosevelt
Charles,
First find and fix the cause of the spalling.
Freeze thaw?
Excessive ground moisture?
Bad concrete mix?
Overloaded?
Overworked during finishing?
Etc?
No rebar it ain't.
