I’m wondering if anyone makes a (for lack of a better term), low profile T-Fitting. My situation is this:
I’m installing a drain line for a new dishwasher on the opposite side of the kitchen from my sink. Per my plumbers instructions, I installed the pipe (not glued yet) at the correct drainage angle and for the ceiling. My plumber explained that I need a Studor vent within 12″ (and 4″ above) of the drain trap. No problem with the pipes, but my floor joists are narrow, so I don’t have room for the studor vent, the adapter that comes with the vent, and standard t-fitting.
Is is possible to get an internal threaded adapter for the waste T? Or some other way to install the studor vent ?
EDIT: A reply asked about my plumber and the accesibility of the Studor vent. First, the studor vent will be readily accessible with a louvered access vent in the DW. Second, my plumber is also readily accesible. But if there is such a fitting as I described, I won’t need to call him. Sorry for any confusion on that, I should have mentioned it in the first post.
Thanks!
Patrick
P.S. Studor vent is really the only solution here, connecting to other vent pipes would require major reconstruction of the house and I’d rather go without the dishwasher than remodel.

Your plumber explained.....??
So why isn't your plumber bailing you out?
The Studor also has to be accessible - not between the floor joists. Perhaps behind the DW?
A diagram or pic of your situation might be helpful.
I'm a little confused on your DW to drain connection.
Are you installing an air gap?
ABS clean-out tee has female threads. Oh pvc aswell
Could you post a pic or a simple drawing?
