I am just starting construction on a new project and plan to use St. Joe Brick made by St. Joe Brick Co. in Slidell, Louisiana. Have any of you used this brick and were you satisfied? We are considering using 3/4 inch flush mortar joints for an antique look. Any thoughts or ideas?

Years ago while living in Bay St. Louis, MS I used St. Joe brick on a patio, walk and porch. We used both the pavers and the regular brick some mortered and some dry layed in sand and found them of high quality, stable, and reasonably priced. St Joe has been in business for over a hundred years - that says something. Good luck with your project.
