I’m designing a new house and have run into an issue where if I don’t stack the bathrooms all my problems ( or most) are solved. What do you think I’m adding to my budget by not stacking the waste line and vent?. All runs go down to the basement and out to the septic system. What else am I missing by not stacking the bathrooms?

I can't tell from here if all your design problems are solved or not<g>
Stacking is not unbreakable rule. It does generally save a little money because you end up with less undergound work. There is only one waste line going to the septic tank, so they all have to tie together b/f they get there.

Both waste lines would tie into one line that goes to the septic.
