Sikkens, Penofin, or just let it go natural gray. This is outside, right?
Yes it is for my daughter's picknic table. The table top and the seat. The legs are metal. Here is what I got when I stopped by the local paint store. The young man also recommended the Sikkens Cetol (one coat) product but other than the gallon at 60 bucks all he had was a sample for 5 bucks of the 078 natural. He recommended the Cabot australian timber oil #3400 natural if I wanted only one quart. He did have quarts of the Cetol but he said it wasn't recommended for furniture and it wasn't the one coat product.
The table had turned a grayish black and when I went to clean it Bird dirt off of it the gray came off as well but the fibers sterted to lift a little. I'd like to make it easier to clean. The fasteners are SS and I placed some of the grace ice and water shield between the wood and the frame to help prevent the frame from rusting too quickly undr the AYC.
Thanks for the advice Mike I'll let you know what I find in the next week.

Cabot's Australian Timber Oil is pretty good stuff too. Next tier down from the other two, but better than many other brands.
