Has anyone ever used stainable flex trim?
I am interested in building a cornice that follows the contour of an arc on the top of a cabinet. My local millwork supplier has suggested a flex trim that is stainable.
What kind of material is it, what is it made of?
How acceptable was the material to stain?
Thanks and as always work safely!

I've used it quite a few times, but it has always been painted.
If you have any poo, fling it now.
Thanks for the link.I'm thinking an experiment with a sample piece would be in order.
I've seen it stained...it looked just like stained Flex-Trim™<G> Hey, pocket doors can't come off the track if they're nailed open
I've installed it, but someone else finished it.
I think you have to use a gel stain on it, kinda like a fiberglass door.
