Two years ago I used tongue and groove knotty yellow pine car siding as a ceiling for a screened porch. I had planned to stain and then top coat the ceiling with several coats of satin spar varnish. However, circumstances prevented me from applying any finish until now. My problem is that the wood has developed dark stains where our sweaty, oily hands contacted the surface, and there is a good deal of mold on the surface as well. Sanding will remove the stains, but the area is rather large (24′ x 24′) and I am looking for a less labor intensive method. Is it possible to use a high pressure washer to clean my ceiling? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try some wood brightener for decks and fences. I wouldnt use a pressure washer at all on the ceiling.
Folks who do log homes rejuvinate log color prior to stain and or finish by mixing chlorox and water in a 1:4 ratio.
Scrub the areas, allow to dry, check color, repeat application, allow to dry completely when happy with the results and seal. Use rubber gloves, sponge/3m scrubbie.
Oxalic acid will work on stubborn areas, if needed!
