Question: Should I use 3/4″t&g 5ply as a substrate under a standing seam metal roof? I will install 30lb felt on the plywood before installing the standing seam roof. The attic space has adequate ventilation. The building is about 250’x 48′ with a 7/12 pitch. Will the plywood buckle without the standard spacing between sheets as is typical on other roofs?
