Haven’t posted in several years. Am looking for a modernist steel rail and stile glass exterior door, with thin (1-1/2″) rails and stiles. A well-established firm that specializes in such doors is out of the client’s price range, while more standard manufacturer’s doors have rails and stiles that are too tall and too wide. The house it will go in was designed by Walter Gropius. I know the product I want will be expensive, but am hoping to avoid exorbitant. Any suggestions?

How about all glass? Stick whatever width stile/rail you want on the edges.

Unfortunately, they're in Calgary.
(Note that there are about a half-dozen door mfgrs that call themselves Rusco. Not sure to what extent they're all related.)
