Still possible to buy 1/4 in. rebar?
Is it still possible to buy 1/4 in. rebar? So far I have been unable to find anyone in the Kansas City – Topeka area who still carries it. From what I can find out on Google, it’s still being made. I’m going to be installing some drainage which involves minor concrete work, and bending the 1/4 in. rebar is a lot easier than working with the larger sizes. The local Ace hardware has some “electric fence posts” which are constructed of a 4-ft. length of 1/4 in. rebar, coated, and with a flat metal piece attached. Trying to find a seller of 1/4 in. rebar in the area by using Google has produced no usable results.

I'm in SoCal ... out in the sticks and I think I saw some being used for a two layer block wall around a landscape area just the other day. I was a bit surprised at the small dia.
Could you not use
3/8" rebar? It's very easy to bend and if your concrete has any thickness at all then it should be easy to get 3/8" in there.
If all you need are very small quantities then you could consider all-thread, I guess.
