I’m about to head off to Ft. Worth for a remodel and was looking for some help locating a stone stoop for the new portico I will be putting on. stoop size- 16″ x 72″ local limestone would be super. I could lug one from Ohio but the truck and trailer are bout to bust as is- tools, tools, tools, and more tools- well okay golf clubs actually…
Anyway- any ideas?
thanks

*Doug, somewhere in texas they mine some beautiful granite. Get it there. Ask one of those cowboys where to find it.Just finished a pretty big bunch of stone work. That's some SOB'in work. I hereby tip the hat I don't wear to those masons. You come up to Woodville lookin, give me a call. Limestone capital of the world.
*Usual suspects I see-Mikeas selfpromoting as this seems- I am in fact traveling to the great state of Texas to remodel the home of a client that was previously foolish enough to hire me when they lived in Ohio. (That porch you complimented me on from Cadioli's thread a while back. It was just a little bit of the whole... so they called 'bout six months ago and asked me to redo their new digs...very flattering -and the money is better than good- so off I go. Golf clubs in tow and a brand spankin' new job trailer to keep 'em dry.Calvin- I'll come up and see ya sometime...did I sound like May West?Anyway- local stone sources anyone- Texas that is
